Tarot Reading for the Eighth Day of Yule

by | Dec 28, 2020 | 0 comments

Here is the collective reading  for the eighth day of Yule, December 28, 2020. This is reading looking at holiday irritations — for those of us dealing with family for this unusual holiday season.

  1. What is the spine pricking me? The Tower, reversed, indicated delaying disaster, fear of pain and avoidance. Sometimes in the midst of the holidays we can choose to grin and bear it. This can lead to resentment and fuels irritations.
  1. What is the salve? Justice is telling you to do what is right. Act fairly, weigh both sides of the issue, and make a just decision, even if the ‘right’ choice is not the choice you would prefer. How is this different from grinning and bearing it?
  1. How can I avoid this in future? 3 of Pentacles, reversed. Release perfection. Be ok with “just ok”.  Would you rather be right or be peaceful at this time of year? Don’t grin and bear it — let it go. Your family and friends are human and so are you. Forgive, release, choose peace.

I believe I originally got this spread from @rootlocktarot (without the holiday specificity).

This is a reading for a lot of people, so please use your intuition to apply it to your situation.

Tarot cards shown are from This Might Hurt Tarot by Isabella Rotman.
