Terms & Conditions

BEFORE you post comments to this website, submit personal information about yourself, or purchase a reading from me, please read through these terms and conditions carefully. Use of this website or contact with the website’s author or proprietor constitutes your acceptance and acknowledgement of these terms.

Privacy & Confidentiality

WHEN you purchase a reading from me, you provide personally sensitive information. I take that sensitivity to heart, and I will not disclose any information about you or your reading to a third party unless either a) I have your written permission and a compelling reason to do so, or b) there is a legal or ethical requirement to do so, such as a court order or threat of significant harm to self or others.

Other communications through this site, such as a blog comment, or communications unrelated to your reading may not be afforded such privacy, but please know that I value your privacy and have no intention of abusing your trust in me.

There is always risk of a privacy breach when conducting business online: no website or internet connection is perfectly secure, and I cannot guarantee the security of your interactions on this site or any electronic communications sent to me. The services I use as part of the operation of this site (e.g. SendinBlue, Stripe, PayPal) take precautions against both accidental exposure and nefarious intrusion, but I have no control over how third parties handle your data, so be mindful of what information you share online. Claims against privacy violations due to those third parties must be claimed against the relevant party. De-identified or anonymous information in the form of “cookies” may be captured for improved usability of this site, but you can control how cookies are used and captured in your individual web browser settings.

I am familiar with best practices of storing and securing personally identifiable information, and I will take reasonable precautions to safeguard any such information you provide from unauthorized sources.

Limits of Service

A tarot professional cannot predict the future with certainty, and you should not rely on a tarot reading to make any decision that would affect your legal, financial, or medical condition. If your inquiry involves the law, finance, or medicine, then you should seek the advice of a licensed or qualified legal, financial, or medical professional. Also, tarot reading cannot replace qualified mental health care. A tarot reading can only facilitate how you cope spiritually with a given situation. In certain jurisdictions, a tarot professional is required to disclose to you that tarot readings should be for entertainment purposes only, and if such a law applies to your reading, then you are hereby on notice thereof.

That said, your tarot reading with me is spiritual in nature and an expression of what I hold as sacred, so while I encourage you to treat what I say as being for entertainment purposes only, know that from my end, I do not treat it as entertainment, and for me, it is a serious expression of my personal beliefs. A tarot reading with me is designed to provoke deep thinking about a topic or situation, not to convey specific advice or direct a cause of action. In no way should your reading with me be construed as financial, legal, or medical advice. I am not a qualified financial advisor, licensed attorney, medical doctor, or mental health professional. A tarot reading with me is a form of metaphysical consultation; it is not a substitute for advice from specialized professionals, nor is it a guarantee of future events.

Tarot readings are custom creations for a specific client at a specific time. A delivered reading is not subject to a refund. If you are unhappy with the quality or delivery of your reading (rather than just the outcome), then please contact me via email or the Contact Form on this site. I appreciate the feedback as I believe we should never stop learning or improving.

MOST of the text in this disclaimer comes from the fantastic Thomas the Hermit of Hermit’s Mirror. If you aren’t familiar with his work, consider visiting his site: hermitsmirror.com. I cannot guarantee the quality of his site or any other linked third party sites, but the last time I visited, it was well worth it.
